Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk
Season 2, Episode 1 - Show Highlights
Air dates May 26 and May 28, 2006

Myrtle Beach Homes Today's second season opened with returning hosts Penny Mohney and Miranda Fuller on location at the beautiful waterfront in Murrells Inlet.

The show started off with a humorous promotion poking fun at the competition between the thousands of realtors here on the Grand Strand.

Centex Homes, the area's largest home builder, featured Cold Stream Cove, the luxurious community with two-story townhomes, adjacent to the only TCP course in Myrtle Beach.

Centex Homes also explained their home warranty program, which is double the national standard, the lifestyle director, who aids new residents

The Hoffman Group featured the Landmark Resort, one of the most exciting oceanfront properties on the Grand Strand. The Landmark is undergoing conversion to private unit ownership, in one of the most desirable locations in all of Myrtle Beach.

Indigo Creek and Indigo Creek Golf Course were featured on the show, with related interviews of happy home owners who were on the course golfing (right outside their back doors), and an informative talk with AJ, the golf pro at Indigo Creek Golf Club, who stated that the course was a Willard Byrd classic with over 600 homes, and invited our viewers to come out to the golf course to meet him and golf. Miranda also tried teeing off, finally connecting with the ball, which landed on the woman's tee, on the third try.

The beautiful, upscale community of Plantation Lakes, including luxury homes for sale as well as a spec home for sale, was featured on the show.

The second season of the show also added a mini-series covering real estate law, featuring John Zilinsky, who in this episode explained to our viewers why the state of South Carolina requires an attorney for real estate transactions.

The North Myrtle Beach Chamber president, Paul Williams, was interviewed by Penny to learn more about the explosive growth, quality of life, and fun stuff going on in the North Myrtle Beach area.

Hosts Penny and Miranda also filmed on location at the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce After Hours at the Giant Crab on restaurant row. There they talked with Scott Taylor of Burroughs and Chapin Realty, and one of the Giant Crab staff about the evening's turnout at the popular restaurant.

B&D Construction, a local building company featured in a cover story of Builder/Architect for their outstanding quality of work, experience, and vision, was also on the show.

As it was Bike Week, Myrtle Beach Homes Today also filmed on location at the Dog House North, a popular biker restaurant and bar in restaurant row. There Miranda interviewed the owner to find out how things were going during the hectic weekend in which thousands of bikers rode (or trailered) into town.

The featured area of the Grand Strand was Little River, detailing the unique things to do in the historic fishing village turned real-estate hot-spot, including the annual Blue Crab Festival, the casino gambling boats, top golf courses, marinas, popular restaurants, fishing charters, and reasons why real estate in Little River is a good investment.

A team of experts, including Gary of B&D Construction, Matt from Lisa's Landscaping and Design, and Rhonda of Finishing Touches Interior Design, were introduced as contributors of a joint renovation project on a colonial house in Myrtle Beach.

Also featured on the show was L&L Pools, Myrtle Beach's San Juan pools dealer, showing the benefits of turning your backyard into a tropical oasis.
